Dyed and natural raffia is skillfully wrapped around tightly coiled banana leaf fibers to create this soft, dense woven basket, dynamically pattered for rich depth and texture. Also features palm leaf detail, woven between raffia in a checkered design. Looks great as a decorative basket on a wall or table, or when used as striking storage. Due to handmade nature, size, shape, and color may vary widely. Approx dimensions: 2 1/2"h x 11 1/2"dia.

I bought this as a gift for a friend of mine, and she was very pleased with the basket she received. We felt quite comfortable sending her this basket based only on the picture and description in the catalogue because we have received such wonderful baskets that we ordered for ourselves that we knew she would be delighted.
