Bright colors, leather-wrapped handles, and a boat-shaped design lend this elephant grass basket its distinctly African flair. Roomy construction provides easy access to farmers market produce or everyday storage. Size, shape, and color vary due to handmade nature. Approx dimensions: 20 1/2"h x 14"w x 9"d.

Reshaping Your Bolgatanga Basket: Our artisan partners fold this basket in order to ship more efficiently. To remove creases and restore its shape, dampen basket with a spray bottle or other water source, or by submerging in water for 1 minute. Let it rest for 5 minutes to allow grass to absorb the moisture and become pliable. Bend and press the basket into shape - don't worry, it won't break. Allow it to air dry before use and enjoy your beautiful handwoven basket from Ghana!

I purchased 3 of these baskets because they are so attractive. I am a quilter, so I expect to use these baskets to store and carry entire quilting projects. The size is perfect for even a large project and they are so beautiful and well made that everyone who sees one wants one. You will not be disappointed.
