Embroidery
A method of embellishing fabric with patterns made of yarn or thread. Designs are stitched into fabric, sometimes adorned with beads, sequins, or other embellishments. In India and Bangladesh, kantha stitching is practiced, in which layers of fabric--often recycled sari-- are stitched together using a running stitch to create blankets, garments, accessories, and more.
