beautiful but fragile

This quilt is gorgeous. However, the decorative stitching throughout the surface is large and loose, and started to fray immediately. It still looks beautiful with some gaps in the stitching. My initial wash in cold water with vinegar, as directed, was easy and the brilliant colors remained.

Spread looks beautiful on the bed, but the white decorative stitches that go through the entire product are so loose (and large) that they start coming apart almost immediately. I am enjoying now but this will not last very long looking good
