Reshaping Your Bolgatanga Basket: Our artisan partners fold this basket in order to ship more efficiently. To remove creases and restore its shape, dampen basket with a spray bottle or other water source, or by submerging in water for 1 minute. Let it rest for 5 minutes to allow grass to absorb the moisture and become pliable. Bend and press the basket into shape - don't worry, it won't break. Allow it to air dry before use and enjoy your beautiful handwoven basket from Ghana!

This flat-bottomed basket goes perfectly with my kitchen colors. It's quite flexible, so not great for carrying things around, but excellent for holding things on the counter. I may hang it on the wall, it's such a lovely work of art.
