Sahana Kimono

I just rec'd this Sahana Kimono. I read reviews before ordering and ordered it anyway. The colors are just as pictured. It's a deep rust with a blue/gray, black and cream block print. It's a light airy fabric and shows the print the same on both sides. I measured the sleeve length. From your back neck to the sleeve edge it's 28.5". I am 5'5" and a size 6-8. It fits exactly as I'd expected. If you wanted to turn up the sleeve edge it is possible...the border print would still show. Folded in half, the body measurement is 15", so 60" total. It's very soft and drapey, so does not look like too much fabric. I am not a big person and really like it. Love the colors and print pattern. I think I will use something to hold it closed in front but wear it over a t-shirt or blouse. I hope this helps. I saw too many negative comments and it isn't like that. It's a unique style and fabric and you won't look like everyone else.

As another reviewer has written, this garment's colors are not as pictured online on in the catalog. The actual red color is a rusty brown which just isn't as attractive as the cranberry color pictured. The light blue color is actually gray and the sleeves are WAY long. I agree that sizing for smaller women would be most helpful. This garment is more suited to a tall, large person. I received it as part of an order placed by our Fair Trade Store so didn't have the opportunity to see it before actually buying it. So disappointing.

It's too bad this kimono does not come in sizes. I could have put two of me in this thing! It is HUGE!! Returning it.
