It should be obvious that a hand painted scarf needs special care. This scarf is made of cotton, so it needs extra special care. But don't let that hold you back from getting one (or more for a friend or two), as it is absolutely gorgeous. I bought 3 and was tempted to get more. Lengthy so can be worn as a wrap, a scarf, or my favorite use of a lovely scarf like this is as a table runner or to cover a bedroom dresser &/or chest of drawers. The possibilities are endless! I love getting things from SERRV but it can be hard to tell what textures of scarves will be like. This one is cotton and very "crispy" so it doesn't drape easily. I washed it, thinking maybe it had sizing in it, but it came out the same way. Now I'm using it as a dresser scarf and enjoying the patterns, but I don't think I will wear it.
