My dad passed last April from Covid. The holidays were not the same without him. I bought this Cardinal for my mom to hang in her house as a constant reminder that my dad is always with her. My mom named him Tom (after my dad), and thinks he is the most adorable bird! It brings her some happiness to always see this little bird.

I don't have enough room for a tree so I hung this from a doorknob under a garland and it looks pretty and cheery.

I'm leaving the review on the cardinal, but all these felted birds are SO adorable. Beautifully made and a great gift for a bird or nature lover...or even someone who knits or works with textiles. The cardinal is the state bird of seven US states, including Indiana :) plus we have Ball State University with the cardinal as the mascot, so I see a lot of gifting opportunities here!
