Each one is made from natural elephant grass dyed and woven using traditional techniques, patterns, and colors. Makes a great do-it-yourself gift basket! Reshaping Your Bolgatanga Basket: Our artisan partners fold this basket in order to ship more efficiently. To remove creases and restore its shape, dampen basket with a spray bottle or other water source, or by submerging in water for 1 minute. Let it rest for 5 minutes to allow grass to absorb the moisture and become pliable. Bend and press the basket into shape--don't worry, it won't break. Allow it to air dry before use and enjoy your beautiful handwoven basket from Ghana!

I just love this small basket's shape and colors. The quality of all your baskets is absolutely the best! Not only durable, but beautifully woven. I have purchase several and love each and everyone. The workmanship is so detailed and intricate.

Well-made basket

I was very pleased with this basket. It is a nice medium size and the colors, and the quality are excellent. Interesting time getting it unfolded. Fortunately, I read some reviews and soaked the bottom for at least 5-7 minutes. After that is was just a good hard push to get it in shape. A nice idea would be to include a little instruction on how to do this. I noticed in some reviews that people did not always read the little tag that comes with it.
