SERRV continues to navigate tariffs and their impacts as our handcrafted products arrive in U.S. ports. In order to compensate for the new 50% tariffs and honor our commitments to our fair trade partners, we raised prices on some handcrafts from India in mid-October 2025. For common questions about tariffs, see below.
What are tariffs?
Tariffs are taxes on goods and services imported from other countries.
Who is responsible for tariffs?
Since all of our handcrafted items from overseas are imported, we're charged an additional fee on these when our orders clear customs at U.S. ports. SERRV is responsible for paying these tariffs—not the countries that send our products.
What does this mean for me?
In order to absorb the increased costs placed on our products, we may have to raise prices further as the situation continues to evolve. You may see prices that differ from our printed catalog, and we appreciate your understanding as we navigate this constantly changing situation.
