Host a Sale Prefer to host your fundraiser in person? Host a Serrv Consignment Sale at your church, school, or community event. Select products are shipped to your event free of charge, and your nonprofit earns 10% of total sales.
Work with Us Join our team! We regularly post opportunities for full-time, part-time, and seasonal employment. We also hire freelancers. Are you an experienced blogger, photographer, or product designer? We'd love to tap into your talent. Simply tell us about yourself and send samples of your work. We always credit our contributors, and we're happy to link to your blog or website.
Volunteer Located just outside Baltimore, our warehouse is filled to the brim with handcrafted items. Each year, we depend on hundreds of volunteers to help us ship thousands of items to our customers. Just let us know when you'd like to volunteer. Lunch is on us!
Invest in our Work Serrv International offers a unique opportunity for social investors (individuals, churches, and institutions) to help fund employment for the poor in developing countries while earning interest on their investment.
Like most of the world's poor, artisans and small farmers are often denied access to credit. Your interest-bearing investment in the SERRV International Loan Fund provides our large network of artisans and cooperatives with working capital to develop and sell their products. It allows us to pay them fairly and in advance for their handmade products (months before we can ship and sell these products in the U.S.), ensuring they have funds to buy raw materials and to earn income while they work.
We believe this kind of micro-financing is a powerful tool to fight poverty, and your participation in our Loan Fund directly enables a just, beneficial and sustainable approach to economic development for those with few opportunities.
The Serrv International Loan Fund is currently available for participation in the following states: Alaska, Connecticut, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, Texas, Utah, Washington, Washington DC, Wisconsin For more information and a prospectus on our Loan Fund, please contact Catherine Dowdell by email.
Operated by Serrv International Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Serrv International Loan Fund was established in 2002 to support the organization's charitable mission and fair trade principles.
The above shall not constitute an offer to sell or the solicitation of an offer to buy, nor shall there be any sale of these securities in any state in which such offer, solicitation or sale is not authorized. The offering is made solely by the OFFERING CIRCULAR (prospectus).
