Beautiful Unique Nativity

I hunted high & low for this set after I saw it on a blog. It did not disappoint. It is both rustic and elegant. It's the usual size of a table-top nativity. The gold shines in the candlelight and looks as lovely at night as during the day. My Christmas decor is mostly wood and neutral, so this nativity is a highlight and goes well with everything. Since it's wood, I can set it out without fear while mothering 3 little boys.
Didn't realize it had gold paint

I was surprised to unwrap these figurines and find them very shiny with a gold layer painted over them. I didn't notice this in the pictures. It's ok and I'll keep it but would have perferred a more understated nativity.
