Since 2026, SERRV International has partnered with UPAVIM Crafts, providing a honest, transparent, and long-term trading partnership with interest-free advance payments for our orders. 

UPAVIM is a self-run cooperative of women that creates and sells colorful, fair trade items made using traditional crafting methods. Sales of UPAVIM’s fair trade goods directly support the cooperative, helping them to continue creating their beautiful ceramics and textiles. Sales of their handcrafts also fund a full day K–6 education program, daycare for the artisan's children, and a Montessori-based preschool. In addition to their education initiatives, UPAVIM has also developed a local health clinic, tutoring program and bakery in La Esperanza.

Working with over 60 women facing poverty, crime and violence in their neighborhoods, UPAVIM provides a source of safe and vital employment, as well as a supportive community with shared purpose, working to build a better world for future generations.
