Dyed and natural raffia is skillfully wrapped around tightly coiled banana leaf fibers to create this soft, dense basket, dynamically pattered for rich depth and texture. Also features palm leaf detail, woven between raffia in a checkered design inspired by a butterfly's wing. I bought this as a gift for a friend of mine, and she was very pleased with the basket she received.
