Beautiful but does not warm

The basket and "bread warmer" are beautiful and I am happy to support the artisans. However, it does NOT work as described. It does not keep bread, rolls, tortillas, etc. warm. Had I known this, I wouldn't have ordered it or the drink "warmers," which I ordered as gifts. Since the return period was so short and has passed, I will keep the basket as a bread basket and the "warmer" as a trivet--or perhaps give them away as a bread basket and trivet.

The Birds of a Feather Breadwarmer is as lovely as it appears. I sent one to each of my two brothers' families for Christmas and they all very much appreciated it. When my son saw how much I admired it, he gave one to me for Christmas(!) and having seen and used it, I've already ordered another one to gift next year!

These breadwarmers are beautiful. Excellent quality and sturdy. Actually slightly larger than I expected, which is good. They will be fine gifts for my Sourdough friends. Also, the packaging they came in was topnotch and sturdy for good protection.

I have wanted one of these terra cotta breadwarmers since I first saw them in your catalogue. It is exquisite, a beautiful product, so pretty. I had excellent communication re the delay, I am not sure why others said that it was an issue. Supply chain issues have been going on in so many businesses for the past 2 years, this is nothing deliberate. Good work Serrv!!

I ordered this item on 11/21/21. I have not received this item as of 12/14/21. I have not received any update on the order and can't get any information on the order. I have been billed for this item though. Still hopeful it will arrive before Christmas and someone will let me know what is happening before I have to contact my credit card company.

I purchased this for a large dinner I was having. It's beautiful! Warmed nicely and kept the bread very warm for a long time. Loved it so much I purchased a second one as a gift. It's larger than I thought too.

Will be using for first time on Easter, so I cannot speak to its heat retention. However, I have every confidence it will do the job. Very pretty. Did NOT find the basket to have any overly strong odor as some others have commented. Another nice product from SERRV.

I love the bread warmer! It's so beautiful with the bird motif. I was a little disappointed in the smell of the basket. I am trying to air it out so the smell will go away. Otherwise, fabulous!

The Birds of a Feather Bread warmer is lovely. I bought it as a gift so I haven't tried it to see how long it stays warm, but due to it's heft I think it will be good. My only concern was the odor from the grass basket. When it arrived it was a little overwhelming. I sprayed it with Febreze and let it air out a few days. Now it is fine.

The quality of the basket and warming stone is excellent. The only issue is that the baskets have a musty smell. I'm dousing them in baking soda on a daily basis to try to remove the odor.

I bought three bread warmers and two mug warmers for gift s this holiday season. They are quite beautiful and arrived in good shape. I especially like the innovative shredded box packing material. The only issue is that everything has a noxious odor. I unwrapped all the pieces and sprayed them with a neutralizer and left them outside to air. Within 5-6 hours, the smell was gone. I would like to suggest that you put microwave instructions for heating the stone in the package, The only instructions call for heating an oven and putting the stones in for 10 minutes. This is not a very energy efficient way to heat the stones. I do love them, though!

I have purchased many bread warmers as gifts over the last few years. I always include one of the colorful kantha dish towels as they are perfect for wrapping or covering the bread. It's a great combination for a house warming, wedding shower, or friend or family gift. People really love them.

I have purchased many of these bread warmers over years. They are beautiful and well made, and make perfect housewarming gifts. Just add a perfect loaf of artisan bread, preferably home-made, a bottle of wine and a cellar of salt and you've got it! (It's a Wonderful Life reference)
