Nice, but smaller than I thought

Even though I read all the specs I guess I was expecting these to be a little more substantial, especially for the price. They are very chunky and heavy, however, as expected. I'm not sure what the gold foil is supposed to be, as I don't see much evidence of it, but I really wasn't interested in the gold part so that is fine with me.
