Sturdy, wrong finish

This cutting board is sturdy and has nice graceful shape. The finish is not right for a cutting board, it's too polished, rather than just oiled. I'm sure when I've used it a lot, the knife marks won't look quite so dramatic.

At this discounted price this coming board is incredible value. It's really beautiful - I almost hate to actually use my knives on it! It's a decent size too. I bought two to replace some older plastic boards that were my go-to for chopping veggies. These are so much better.

This cutting board is $32 in the catalog and $42 on the website. I support free-trade always but jacking up the price isn't the right thing to do.
