Gave this as a gift and had to wait for the product since it was out of stock. It's a nice product with obvious social benefits across the planet. Definitely will consider buying more products.

So, my stepdaughter just gifted me the stone. When I make my bread, it bakes at 450 degrees. Would it harm the stone to heat it up at 450 or should it be no higher than 350? Thanks!

Beautiful high-quality basket and warming stone. Be careful to note size before ordering. Suitable for a small gathering, as it will hold about six rolls. Included directions are to warm the stone in a heated oven, so unsure if warming in the microwave may harmful to the stone. I have waited a long time to have one of these so I am not going to chance harming the stone.

It is as stated and works well for keeping bread and buns warm. Found a second use for it by using an oval bowl to keep a casserole warm! Good value and will order the round one also. Wish it would have been offered/available with the decorative color band.

No need to hide these away when not in use!...the warming tile is beautiful and basket will fit a fair amount of bread! Great gift and beautiful and practical to own! Thank you to the artisans!

The first one I got had a smudged pattern on the tile. I returned it and got a new one that's perfect. It's a beautiful bread warmer. I just got the replacement the other day. So I've not had a chance to use it yet.

The basket is made of high quality materials, handmade and sold at a great value for the money. It's one of my favorite purchases this year because it makes me feel so good to support fair trade commerce between the U.S. and underdeveloped regions. The serrv catalogue is outstanding and beautiful. I plan to purchase from it again and again to support fair trade commerce that benefits Catholic programs and so forth. On a tight budget it can be hard rationalizing donations but when there is a exchange for a real good it's easy to rationalize this. I just wish I had received the catalogue prior to black Friday instead of after, as I would have purchased more from serrv.

Got this as a wedding gift, so I haven't used it, but it was just perfect. So very beautiful, such a wonderful gift idea, and it smelled like real, fresh materials. Highly recommended!!

I ordered one of these for Christmas for a friend. It's great with olive oil, vinegar, etc. This one is going to be part of an auction for the AFSP. I would LOVE it if the instructions could be sent to me somehow. I can't remember the right temps and timing...

I have been trying to find a nice bread basket, but to have the stone inside to keep the bread warm was a huge bonus! The clay stone inside is very pretty! I am going to buy a few more for gifts!

The bread warmer baskets were a hit at our consignment sale. We had to order extras as we sold out. Beautiful embossed detailing on the clay insert.
