Both sides are lovely. The turquoise is softened beautifully by the neutral, red and orange warp threads, so that it works well--not too bright, but still vibrant. The weaving method seems to be unusual now: the jacquard means that there area two layers of threads, giving this substance without stiffness. The cotton is soft soft!!! It seems that most textiles have so much synthetic (fabrics, and finish, too if cotton). This however, has both softness and sturdiness. Love it!
